Dream it.
It all begins with an idea, a tiny seed planted in the back of your mind. You picture yourself being photographed, with your horse, in the mountains.
Cosplay, is definitely not out of the equation, we can be as creative as you wish to be.

Envision it.
The seed begins to grow into a sapling, as you envision yourself bonding with your beloved equine, while being photographed in the soft glow of the setting sun descending beyond the jagged mountain peaks.

Accomplish it.
What once was a seed, has grown into a beautiful oak, strong, resilient, yet flexible enough to withstand the greatest of storms.
With the help of like minded ladies, we will make your dream a reality.
My Goal…
To help women realize their dream of riding and camping with their horse in the Beautiful Alberta Rocky Mountains, as I capture those cherished moments with professional photos.
On these three day retreats we go horseback riding in the Alberta Rockies. Where we will ride to awesome places with amazing scenery.
It’s a wonderful way to honor you and your horse, as well as your journey together.
Our retreats include:
-A true get-a-way from everyday life, no cell phone service or internet.
-Photo sessions at multiple locations, with breathtaking backdrops.
-Free camping (No power or water hook-ups). I make a donation to Friends of the Eastern Slopes with each Excursion.
There are many fabulous places to stop for photos on this trip. With mountain creeks, rivers, ponds, lakes, valley views as well as a great chance of seeing wildlife.
We WILL NOT ride anyplace that you are not comfortable with. There are so many beautiful places to ride out there, that we don’t feel the need to push anyone beyond their comfort level.

Cancer Survivors - Spokes Model Weekend
Destination: Big Horn Campground - YaHa Tinda

This is a special weekend set aside for those that have had or are dealing with Cancer. The sitting fee will be waived for the Four lucky ladies chosen for this weekend.
Having had Cancer as well as Chemotherapy Treatments myself I know how hard it is. I want you to know that you are not alone and this weekend is just for you. It’s a time for letting go of the stress and anxiety, to just be one with your horse and nature. My job is to capture those memories… the ones that will make you smile for years to come.
June 7 - 9
Destination: Big Horn Campground - YaHa Tinda

On this trip we will be traveling the flats to various areas for amazing photos of you and your horse with the beautiful Rocky Mountains, Red Deer River as well as a valley view for a backdrop. (The latter is providing that everyone is comfortable with doing so).
June 11 - 13
Destination: Big Horn Campground - YaHa Tinda

On these retreats it isn’t uncommon to see some of the local wildlife. We often see deer, elk and sheep.
July 12 - 14
Destination: Eagle Creek Campground - YaHa Tinda
Fantasy Photo Sessions

From here we will be going to the beautiful mountain rimmed Eagle Lake and possibly around the lake to James Falls, to take a few amazing photos. As well as exploring the flats and a short ride to the trappers cabin. (It’s a great spot for photos, with a crystal clear creek and a mysterious looking forest).

At no time, on any of our retreats will we go beyond the comfort level of you OR your horse. Safety is our top priority. Having fun is our second, with beautiful photos of you and your horse, a very close third.

Miss Michelle
Michelle has joined us for the the last two years on the Caner Warrior Weekends.
She is such a delight to ride with and the stories are we share vary from serious to just joking around (mostly joking around).
We also did a couple of Fantasy Photo sessions, just because we wanted too.
I look forward to riding with Michelle again this year on the Cancer Warrior Weekend.
Miss Courtenay
Courtenay had a very special experience with her horse Smokey last summer.
They joined us for a Fantasy Fun Weekend, where she did multiple photo sessions in a variety of outfits. Each session was at a different location and it was so much fun for all of us.
To top it off Courtenay really wanted photos of her riding bareback in Eagle Lake. And of course we made that happen.

Miss Michelle tells us her thoughts on our travels, as we ride down the trail.
Miss Devon
Devon is such a wonderful young lady to have as a trail companion.
She rode with us to the Slides, Eagle Lake, the Trappers Cabin and up on the ridge.
We also rode up to the top of Big Horn Falls, where we tied the horses and took some photos above the waterfalls.
We captured beautiful photos of Devon and her horse splashing through the creek during golden hour. The sunlight catching the water droplets from the splashing was incredible.
I hope Devon joins us again for a Photography on Horseback excursion in the future.
